This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It protects buyers, other store owners and our platform. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask us at hello@origela.com before you start selling it.
We do not review stores, products or content in advance. As the seller, you alone are responsible for making sure that what you sell and publish is lawful in every country you sell to (section 9 of the Terms). This policy lists minimum rules; it does not replace the law.
1. Prohibited products and services
You may not use an Origela store to sell, offer or promote:
- anything illegal in your country or in the countries you sell to;
- prescription medicines, controlled substances, drugs and drug paraphernalia; products making unproven health claims;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives and their key parts;
- counterfeit or pirated goods, or products that infringe trademarks, copyright or other rights;
- stolen goods, personal data, account credentials or hacking tools;
- sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises minors; adult content without the age checks the law requires;
- gambling, lotteries or betting without the required licence;
- financial schemes such as pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick offers or unlicensed financial services;
- products or content that promote violence, terrorism, hatred or discrimination;
- products, services or sales that breach Turkish, UN, EU, UK or US sanctions or export controls, including dealings with sanctioned persons.
2. Prohibited behaviour
- Misleading buyers: fake reviews, fake discounts, hidden costs or failing to deliver what was paid for.
- Sending spam, or sending marketing emails without the consent the law requires.
- Phishing, impersonating another business, or collecting data under false pretences.
- Uploading malware, attacking, probing or overloading the platform or other stores, trying to bypass limits or security, or carrying out security or penetration tests without our written consent. If you find a vulnerability, report it to hello@origela.com without exploiting or sharing it.
- Using the Service to host files or run software unrelated to your store.
- Reselling or sub-licensing the Service without our written agreement.
3. Fair use and plan limits
Each subscription includes up to 2,000 products and 10 GB of storage for product images and store files. Orders and staff accounts are unlimited. If your catalog grows beyond these limits, ask us and we will offer a custom quote.
Storage is for running your store. Do not use it as general file hosting or for downloads unrelated to what you sell, and do not use the Service in a way that harms its performance for other customers (for example by abusing traffic, storage or email). If a store goes beyond the limits or affects other customers, we normally contact you first and propose a solution; in an emergency affecting the platform we may limit resource use immediately (section 6 of the Terms).
4. Payment providers
Your payment providers have their own lists of restricted businesses. You must also follow their rules; a provider may close your account independently of us.
5. Enforcement
If we learn of or reasonably suspect a breach, we may remove content, limit features, suspend or close the store. Where reasonable we contact you first and give you time to fix the problem. In serious cases (for example illegal content, fraud or attacks) we act immediately and without prior notice, may inform the authorities and may share with them the information the law requires. No fees are refunded for a store suspended or closed because of a breach (section 15 of the Terms), and you pay for claims arising from the breach (section 14 of the Terms). Enforcement is at our discretion; if we do not act against a breach, that does not mean we approve it or are responsible for it.
6. Reporting abuse
To report a store that breaks this policy, write to hello@origela.com with the store address and a description.
