This policy explains when you can get the fee you paid back. It is part of the Terms of Service. You pay Origela directly by bank transfer or Wise or, where offered, through an online payment provider. Refunds are made through the channel used for the payment; if an authorised reseller selling in its own name took the payment, the refund is made through that reseller with our approval.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If Origela is not right for you, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. No reason is needed. This guarantee is a voluntary commercial commitment, not a statutory right of withdrawal, and applies on these conditions:
- it can be used only once for the same business, person or domain (the first subscription);
- it does not apply to stores suspended or closed because of a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, fraud or abuse, or to subscriptions whose payment has been disputed (chargeback).
After the refund the store is closed and its data is deleted as set out in section 16 of the Terms of Service; you can export your data before that.
2. Renewals
Subscriptions paid by bank transfer or Wise do not renew automatically: each year you decide whether to pay the renewal. If you paid with an online method with automatic renewal and do not want to renew, cancel before the renewal date. If a renewal was paid by mistake or charged automatically and you have not used the store since the renewal date (no login to the panel, no product or order activity), ask within 14 days of the renewal payment and we refund it in full.
3. After the 14 days
- After the periods above, payments are not refundable, except in the cases below or where mandatory law gives you a right to a refund; cancelling during the year does not give a right to a pro-rata refund.
- If we terminate the contract without serious cause, if you cancel because we materially changed the Terms (section 19 of the Terms), if we permanently remove core functionality (section 3 of the Terms) or if force majeure lasts more than 60 days (section 18 of the Terms), you receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part of the paid year.
- For any other claim connected with the Service, including downtime, data loss or a security incident, the maximum remedy is the one set out in section 12 of the Terms of Service: a refund of the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and no more than one annual fee (currently $99). Refunds made under this policy count towards that cap. The exceptions in section 13 of the Terms remain unaffected.
- No refund is due for a store suspended or terminated because of your breach or non-payment (section 15 of the Terms).
4. How to request a refund
Write to hello@origela.com from the email address of your account, with your store address and (if you paid by bank transfer or Wise) the account the refund should go to. We initiate the refund in the currency you paid, normally to the account or payment method the payment came from, within 10 business days of approving the request. We pay our own transfer fees; fees of intermediary or receiving banks and payment providers, their processing times and exchange-rate differences are outside our control and are not covered.
5. Business customers; no right of withdrawal
The Service is offered to businesses only, and at signup you confirm that you act for your business (section 2 of the Terms). The consumer right of withdrawal under Turkish Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation therefore does not apply to the contract between us. If mandatory law nevertheless gives you a right of withdrawal or refund, this policy does not remove it; however, because the Service is supplied electronically and starts immediately at your request, such a right may end once the store has been set up (article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation). The money-back guarantee above applies in addition.
